With the development of E-Commerce, SMEs like small size or individual inventors, craftsmen, businesses, brands and content creators across underdeveloped countries fall behind in the race of digitization of businesses due to lack of opportunity on the basis of not having access to truly global marketplaces with affordable electronic payment solutions.
Additionally, countries and regions where mainstream online shops are already established, does not allow new merchants to thrive. Thus those merchants have to sell their products on mature marketplaces at a reduced profit margin.
